1994-95 - Convenor and organiser of Australia's First National Conference on Women and Public Transport.

1987 and 1988 - Writer and presenter of submissions that won National Housing Industry Assn Gold Marketing Award.
1992 - Appointed 'Graduate Women', official magazine of Australian Federation of University Women.
1995 - State finalist, Telstra Business Women of the Year Awards.

- Appointed managing publisher USQ Press (aka University of Southern Queensland Press).

- Longest serving news reader for WIN TV Network Australia.

- Most senior woman at both USQ and State Transport Authority (now Trans-Adelaide).
