First Australian partial paraplegic to fly an FA 18 Jet fighter.
First female director of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

Former cross-country skier.  Part Paraplegic Pilot - Private and Commercial Pilot and Pilot Instructor.
2001 - Member of the Order of Australia.
